Healthy feet are vital for mobility and in a lifetime, the average person walks approximately 160,000 km.  Almost a third of GP consultations for musculoskeletal problems relate to pain in the foot and ankle. Healthcare professionals have recognised the importance of keeping our feet in good working order but there is so much more that can be done to support this.
