Why Vinyl?

Choosing a floor covering is not always simple.

Although traditional flooring types or categories haven't changed much over the years, the options within those categories certainly have and we are facing tougher choices, with wider ranges, more versatility and better quality flooring than ever before.

In some market sectors, other than the traditional healthcare sector, vinyl is still a relatively new choice on the "shopping list" and specifiers and installers are not necessarily as well acquainted with the product.  Also, with cost saving being more important now than ever before, teams are being asked to interrogate their product choices, investigate alternate options and to provide a rationale to substantiate their choices.

This is an important exercise and we are getting more and more requests to motivate why to specify or install vinyl.  Ít's important to understand the ins and outs of the products available to you and ensure you're able to make intentional, informed decisions which can easily be motivated should you be challenged.  No man can stand by their conviction without knowledge and confidence.

It is disappointing to see people making uninformed decisions and reverting back to what they know, rather than embracing vinyl and all it has to offer, for the good of the project.  This "safe choice" is often to the detriment of the long term success of the installation and ultimately the client.

There is no one floor covering on the market that meets every single need.  In saying that, vinyl meets a long list of high performance criteria and guaranteed to exceed demands and expectations.

Here is a quick summary to help you make the right decision.
